TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
General Responsibilities:
The Dispatcher holds a supervisory role and may therefore be involved in various HR processes (employee follow-ups, vacation planning, employee departures). Thanks to their technical expertise, they also handle after-hours customer calls and contribute to employee onboarding and training.
Role 1: Dispatching Customer Visits
- Plan deliveries and maintain the customer database.
- Assign driver routes: prepare and create schedules based on delivery addresses.
- Modify routes as necessary.
Role 2: Responding to Customer Calls
- Provide information to customers regarding delivery.
- Create new customer profiles.
- Provide support to the accounts accounting department.
Role 3: Customer Follow-Up
- Serve walk-in customers in the showroom and manage propane bottle/vehicle refills.
- Review delivery feedback.
- Follow up on trucks maintenance and repairs.
