    Description

    Under the supervision of the sales manager, the incumbent will be in charge of promoting our floors to existing and potential customers from the Atlantic Canada

    Responsibilities

    • Visit retailers and contractors in order to build and maintain long-lasting business relationships;
    • Meet the needs of our customers by advising and training them on our products;
    • Adapt their marketing techniques and approach to each customer in order to close sales;
    • In close collaboration with the inside sales department, participate in the bid process;
    • Provide good customer and after-sales service;
    • Take an active role in promotions and new product launches;
    • Study the market trends and consumer needs;
    • Represent the company at industry events;
    • Install and maintain customer displays and showrooms.

    Requirements

    Requirements :

    • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience as a sales representative;
    • Knowledge of wood flooring products;
    • Fluency in English;
    • Sound knowledge of Office 365;
    • Live in Nova Scotia

    Skills :

    • Is customer service oriented;
    • Provides high quality customer service and has a customer-based approach based on honesty and integrity;
    • Is available for regular business travels;
    • Has good interpersonal skills, is perseverant and has initiative;
    • Has strong negotiation and organizational skills;
    • Is able to work in a team or individually.
