    Description

    Play a key role in driving Bridor’s growth across Eastern Canada by leading our sales strategy and inspiring a high-performing team!

    Chief Commercial Officer - Sales Canada the incumbent is responsible for developing Bridor’s business with key customers, contacts, and marketing opportunities through head offices based in Eastern Canada within the food service and retail segments.

    The incumbent must contribute to the company’s revenue, profitability, marketing, and growth by securing new business, opportunities, or channels to promote Bridor.

    The incumbent is also responsible for managing the sales team, overseeing their development and performance within Bridor.



    The role is tied to our Boucherville office, but you will be based in Ontario — at the heart of the action — supporting our sales teams across the region.




    Responsibilities

    • Develop sales strategies;
    • Identify opportunities and develop client-specific proposals to increase sales volume and profitability;
    • Continuously analyze customer and bakery trends to better understand the competition and market trends;
    • Conduct promotional presentations of our products at client locations, attend food trade shows, etc.;
    • Ensure problem resolution and follow-up on client accounts;
    • Establish strong professional relationships between the company and distributors;
    • Follow up on distributor accounts;
    • Monitor and evaluate the overall annual plan;
    • Develop sales budgets and regularly track budget, sales, and expenses;
    • Work closely with the marketing team and other key departments to create proposals that generate profitable margins or marketing activities as needed;
    • Monitor and periodically analyze the sales performance of assigned clients;
    • Manage the promotional budget;
    • Ensure objectives are achieved;
    • Develop recommendations for sales strategies;
    • Ensure consistency and alignment of sales strategies;
    • Understand local realities and client objectives;
    • Assess the consistency of client needs;
    • Recommend client-specific programs;
    • Supervise brokers’ work, where applicable;
    • Accompany brokers to client visits;
    • Support brokers at distributor trade show.

    Requirements

    • University degree or equivalent experience;;
    • Knowledge of the food and retail industry and the Ontario market;;
    • Bilingualism (an asset);
    • Minimum of 5 years of team management experience;
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience presenting to and collaborating with broker and distributor management teams;
    • Previous experience in regional sales management.
