Your challenges

Primary Purpose of the Position:
Coordinate drivers’ delivery routes, plan deliveries, respond to customer inquiries, and keep the customer database up to date. Participate in assist management annual review.

Coordinate drivers’ delivery routes, plan deliveries, respond to customer inquiries, and keep the customer database up to date. Participate in assist management annual review.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

General Responsibilities:
The Dispatcher holds a supervisory role and may therefore be involved in various HR processes (employee follow-ups, vacation planning, employee departures). Thanks to their technical expertise, they also handle after-hours customer calls and contribute to employee onboarding and training.

Role 1: Dispatching Customer Visits

  • Plan deliveries and maintain the customer database.
  • Assign driver routes: prepare and create schedules based on delivery addresses.
  • Modify routes as necessary.

Role 2: Responding to Customer Calls

  • Provide information to customers regarding delivery.
  • Create new customer profiles.
  • Provide support to the accounts accounting department.

Role 3: Customer Follow-Up

  • Serve walk-in customers in the showroom and manage propane bottle/vehicle refills.
  • Review delivery feedback.
  • Follow up on trucks maintenance and repairs.

POSITION CHALLENGES & INTERESTS

Efficiently coordinate the movement of the company’s fleet within a designated territory. Plan deliveries, organize schedules and routes, and ensure all necessary data is collected and recorded to update the client database for operational tracking.
