Trade Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Go-to-Market Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for the merchandising and promotion of the division's product portfolio.

Responsibilities

The responsabilities of the position include:

  • Develop strategies and lead the execution of the annual national in-store activation plan to increase sales across the division's brands: promotions, incentive programs, activations, etc.
  • Manage national merchandising projects, including planning, budgets, recommendations, and tool development to ensure effective in-store execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design in-store programs and launch plans for new products and packaging, aligned with the division’s objectives.
  • Optimize in-store product merchandising using specialized tools, considering the customer journey, commercial performance, and product safety constraints.
  • Plan, organize, and actively participate in field activities: trade shows, exhibitions, seminars, training sessions, webinars, and retailer events, while managing communications with retailers.
  • Develop and implement tools and programs to support the sales force in achieving its goals.
  • Track initiative performance, analyze data, and provide recommendations to improve results.
  • Ensure online product merchandising, including product sheets, content, images, and other sales tools.
  • Conduct regular in-store visits to understand challenges, ensure proper execution, monitor trends and competitive practices, and optimize actions accordingly.
  • Stay up to date with merchandising trends and propose, test, and deploy new merchandising and sales approaches.
  • Contribute to the division’s marketing projects

To perform, you need to :

To succed, the candidate must have the following caracteristics:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in customer marketing (trade marketing, marketing, or merchandising)
  • Experience working with retail networks
  • Proven ability to lead and execute in-store initiatives
  • Strong understanding of in-store sales levers
  • Comfortable with data analysis and decision-making
  • Proficiency in analytical tools, including Excel

  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written as he will have to interact with customer all over the country
  • Be confortablewith digital tools and collaborative environments

  • Position based at the Victoriaville headquarters or the Brossard branch, with a hybrid work model
  • Travel required (store visits and events)
