Technical services representative

The Technical Service Representative is responsible for performing diagnostics and/or evaluations related to parts and after-sales service for our various equipment lines. You will receive training on the operation of different cleaning equipment and will be in contact with a diverse clientele from across Canada.

Responsibilities

Member of the service and equipment director's team, the technical service representative performs all of the following functions:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer calls nationwide and provide technical solutions;
  • Address issues raised by customers to determine the nature and cause of these problems;
  • Coordinate with service technicians for interventions if necessary;
  • Inform suppliers, customers, and company employees about policies related to warranties and merchandise returns;
  • Access a database regarding prices and customers to ensure service efficiency;
  • Enter orders into the order management system;
  • Check product availability, manage inventories, and coordinate to ensure prompt and efficient deliveries;
  • Track orders until delivery and follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction;

To perform, you need to :

  • Be bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written, as the position deals with a fully bilingual clientele;
  • Basic skills in mechanics, electromechanics, and electricity;
  • Experience as a parts counter clerk or technical advisor (an asset);
  • Good communication skills and aptitude for customer service over the phone;
  • Good organizational skills, both in work methods and time management;
  • Respectful and customer-oriented;
  • General knowledge of computer systems (Microsoft Office suite);
